Please note that this itinerary lists some of the many things you could do while in Qatar. You could use this guide as an outline to plan your trip according to your interests.
Start your journey slowly with some of Doha's most captivating spots. The Pearl-Qatar and Lusail are popular locations for relaxing evening outings, leisure activities and dining experiences.
This Italian-inspired property is one of the most picturesque spots in the country. Two popular sides of The Pearl-Qatar are Qanat Quartier and Porto Arabia.
You can start with a stroll around Qanat Quartier during the day to admire the vibrantly coloured buildings and move over towards Porto Arabia and have a bite or a cup of coffee with serene views of the surrounding water and yachts.
To make this tour even more exciting, you could opt for a ride on the Pearl water taxi that takes you from one end to another. The journey is approximately 20-minutes.

Walks around Lusail City gives you a chance to appreciate some public art installations, visit the luxury Place Vendôme Mall or try out many delectable bites at the Lusail Marina Food Arena.
A fun way to explore Lusail would be the Lusail tram, which will take you around the city's main spots.
While Lusail Marina has much to offer, it is noteworthy that Lusail will be an entertainment hub during the World Cup 2022 (20 Nov - 18 Dec).
From fan zones to festivals and theme parks; the choice is yours.

Qatar has great outdoor experiences if you visit during the pleasant weather (September to April).
If you are travelling with family or a group, a fun activity would be to book a traditional Dhow Cruise experience which is sure to take up your day. This private dhow cruise wouldn't be shared with others and accommodates 30 people with a booking for a minimum of 4 hours.
The dhow sails afloat towards an island known as Safliya Island. Once anchored there, you could free dive for a swim in the sea, enjoy karaoke aboard, or indulge in water sports like jet skiing. The package itself includes water and soft drinks; however, you can also arrange for catering at an additional charge.
At the time of booking, discuss all your preferred arrangements and activities of interest, as additional charges may apply.

If you want a more hands-on water experience, you could opt for a Mangroves Exploration Tour. This is a shared activity; therefore, you do not require a group of your own.
The northern parts of Qatar are home to pristine, thick mangrove forests that can be explored on a kayak.
If you are lucky enough, you could spot some flamingos and herons during your tour.
While you are provided with all the necessary training and equipment, remember that meals are not included.
Dedicate the last day of your stay to visiting some of Doha's most iconic spots within the city, without which your trip to Doha would be incomplete.
Your ideal route map would be in the following order to ease your accessibility and avoid a back-and-forth journey.
The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) is dedicated to preserving Qatar's history, culture & traditions. The galleries display pieces of art that showcase Qatar's clothing transformation, old ways of life, gifts of international relations, and so much more.
The museum gets its structure from the unique natural desert formation of the desert rose. A trip to their gift shop will allow you to pick up a desert rose souvenir and many other intriguing finds.
This museum could take up much of your time based on individual screening time and how long you choose to dwell within the galleries.
As the name suggests, this museum pays homage to the history of Islamic art worldwide. Expect to view things like regal jewellery, historical armour, pottery, ornaments, and much more associated with Islamic culture.
The recently renovated museum opened its doors with various galleries on display and numerous exhibitions to visit. The Museum of Islamic Art is also a great spot to grab a bite with aesthetic views at the MIA Café and get your hands on some precious souvenirs from their gift shop.
