The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Arab Republic of Egypt announced via its official X (formerly known as Twitter) account that all holders of diplomatic, special, and important Qatari passports must obtain prior and valid entry visas to Egyptian territory.
Holders of regular Qatari passports and valid residency permits are eligible to receive entry visas upon arrival at the airport.
This is in compliance with the laws of the host country, and to avoid returning travelers who do not meet the above conditions.
