The Pearl Island is divided into 10 areas: Abraj Quartier, Costa Malaz, Floresta Gardens, Giardino Village, Isola Dana, Medina Centrale, Perlita Gardens, Porto Arabia, Qanat Quartier, and Viva Bahriya.
All of these areas have residential housing, but only Medina Centrale, Porto Arabia, Qanat Quartier, and Viva Bahriya are open to the public and have retail shops, restaurants, cafes, and other establishments.

The Pearl Island is a man-made island surrounded by the Arabian Gulf. It is located between Katara Cultural Village on its south and Lusail City on its north.

The nearest metro station to The Pearl Island is the Legtaifiya Metro Station (Red Line). From here the metrolink bus M110 is available that takes passengers through Porto Arabia, Medina Centrale, and Qanat Quartier.
