Lusail City is one of Qatar's newest and upcoming places. There are many things to do here from shopping, entertainment, eating and other activities.
So if you haven't been to Lusail City, here are suggestions on what to do in the futuristic city with your near and dear. Happy exploring!
The palm tree-lined Marina Promenade is Lusail's answer to Doha's Corniche. Feel free to go jogging/running, go biking, relax in one of the seats scattered along the route, enjoy the interactive fountains that light up at night, grab a coffee in one of the nearby food stalls, or just simply enjoy the scenery.
Remember a few rules while you're at the Lusail Marina Promenade.
Food trucks, coffee shops and unique food concepts are just some of the things you can expect from Lusail Marina Food Arena. It's up to you if you want to dine in or drive through, but one thing's for sure, you won't be leaving hungry.
Lusail City has its share of unique-looking buildings. The Marina Twin Towers look like colourful Lego blocks, while the Waterfront Hotel looks like it has cubes coming out of the building. Other interesting buildings include the Lusail Stadium, Katara Towers, and Place Vendôme.
Crescent Park in Lusail is a vast green space that provides visitors with walking spaces, jogging tracks, a maze, plenty of seating, a children's play area and other amenities to enjoy.
Designed by DISSING+WEITLING and built by Samsung C&T, this circular suspension bridge is surely one of Lusail's icons. While it already looks amazing during the day, it's even more wonderful at night when it lights up. A great spot for some insta-worthy photos!
While you're at it, some other photo spots in Lusail are the public art installation - Eqal By Shouq Al Mana, the I Love Lusail Marquee and the Lusail Fountain.
One of the newest additions to the country’s list of malls is Place Vendôme Qatar. This mall has exquisite interiors, extravagant architecture and some great retail options for you to explore.
Do you like racing? The Lusail circuit offers a full-fledged go-karting experience for kids and adults to put their skills to the test. How cool is this?!
This shooting and archery range is where you can have a great time with your friends and family. Book a session and experience outdoor and indoor shooting with all protective measures.
Check out this stadium from the outside and marvel at the amazing architecture. The stadium’s shape and facade represent the decorative motifs on bowls and other vessels of the Arab and Islamic worlds. Lusail Stadium will host ten matches during the World Cup, including the final – which is more than any other Qatar 2022 venue.
This area at Lusail City is all the hype right now and is full of contemporary building structures with live 3D screens, commercial complexes, cafés etc. It stretches for about 1.3 kilometres, and the destination is built to offer its residents and visitors a contemporary urban lifestyle. The Lusail Boulevard, along with the Hayya Fan Zone: Lusail Marina Promenade, is a fan zone for the World Cup and will host street performances, parades, and live music surrounded by food and beverage outlets.
Located across the Lusail Marina Promenade, Al Maha Island is an entertainment and leisure spot in Qatar. It features Lusail Winter Wonderland, Nammos Beach Club and a dining district. Stay tuned for the opening and more updates!
Lusail Winter Wonderland is an entertainment and lifestyle destination in Qatar. As per the official website, there will be over 50 rides, attractions like the newly announced CoComelon Town, delicious food and live entertainment. It's going to open soon, so stay tuned!
Qetaifan Island North is all set to become one of the places to be during the tournament. The QetaiFAN Camp will have 1,800 luxury Arabian tents with access to QetaiFAN Beach Fest, a World Cup fan zone. The other things to look forward to here are the Arabian Village, Al Thuraya Village and many entertainment and fun activities.
You can easily get to Lusail using the Doha Metro, your transportation, or by taking the taxi/ride-hailing services. You can also explore Lusail via the Lusail Tram.
