The Al Thakira Mangrove (Avicennia Marina species) Forest is said to be the oldest and largest of its kind in Qatar, so it's not rare to find migratory birds like flamingos in the area along with marine life like crabs, little fish and gastropods. It's a beautiful place to visit with friends and family, but it's also our duty to keep it protected and clean.
Watch this episode of 'Live Green' to find out more about the Al Thakira Mangrove Forest, what kind of activities you can do there, and what you can do to help protect this beautiful natural habitat in Qatar.
