Aspire Park is one of Qatar's most famous parks. It covers an area of 88 hectares, and is Doha's biggest park. The park, with its lush green ground, offers refreshment to every age group. There are beautiful fountains, playgrounds for children, running tracks for joggers and other family-friendly fun features. There is also an artificial lake with paddling boats, with lush green hills as their backdrop. All these world-class facilities attract people to visit this park, especially during weekends and evenings.

2022 Iconic Landmark is the world’s first building in the shape of the number of a year. The 2022 is one of Qatar's newest landmarks, and is located opposite the Aspire Zone in Al Waab. You can see from the image that if you look at the building from the front and from the top, it reads 2022. The 2022 is a mixed-use building that's made up of administrative offices, integrated health club and a number of restaurants and cafes as well as meeting rooms and an auditorium.

Film City is a recreation of a traditional Bedouin village of the Gulf region and rests deserted behind a canyon in the desert area of the Zekreet, or Brouq, peninsula, and is not too far from the Arabian Sea. The buildings in this village are a mixture of small rooms, towers, staircases, walls, wooden doors and poles, and you can go in and out of them as you please. Everything is mud-rendered and the whole area feels surreal.

Shura Awa Island is a beautiful, largely untouched island just off the coast of Qatar and is the talk of the town right now! It’s a small island - just less than 1 km long and c.500 m wide. It's made up of rocky hills with crags and slopes and a good cover of salt-tolerant bushes.

This beautiful picturesque island is surrounded by dazzling pristine green - blue waters with waves lapping at the shore and rich golden sand on its beach that’s soft to the touch and a pleasure to walk in. The coral reef that surrounds the area is a must-see and adds to the splendour of this small, yet perfect little island.
