Qatar is home to many beautiful farms and nature reserves. There are some that allow the public to visit and take part in different programs, public events and even workshops that they undertake.

For only QR 35 for adults (ages 13 and above) and QR 55 for kids (ages 3-12), you could have great fun at Baladna Park. The activities include an Animal Zone, Reptile Cove, Kids Adventure Land, Kids Play Area, Jumping Castle Foot Billiards and more! Near the entrance, you'll find three statues of cows displayed where kids can enter to "milk the cows" for a fun experience (available only from 10 am - 6 pm, daily).
Heenat Salma is a farm that follows the farm-to-table concept. Visitors looking for this experience can reserve their restaurant for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or even dinner (at their majlis). Apart from this, they also hold regular events and workshops for pottery, yoga, wellness course and more. Don't forget to check out their social media accounts for the latest updates and offerings.
North Sedra Farm is a great place for a weekend getaway. When the crops are in season, you can go strawberry picking, harvest vegetables, feed the animals, stroll around etc. You can also check out their Classic Cars Museum, Cat Café and Sanctuary, learn about Qatar's history and more!
This is a family farm that was founded in Qatar in 1930. They produce local fresh vegetables, free-range eggs, poultry, Talapia fish and other produce! As per the farm, they are closed to visitors currently and will open shortly. You can keep an eye out on their social media for updates and give them a call to reserve a slot for you and your friends or family.

This manmade lagoon is stunning to see! This oasis is located in Al Rayyan Municipality, and you can see lots of different species of birds and spot migratory birds, fish, local wildlife, and flora. This off-beat place is a must-visit for photography enthusiasts and bird watchers.

Al Shu'aa Reserve is a great place for families to have fun at. The nature reserve has different kinds of trees and many animals like ducks, ostriches, pigeons, oryx, goats, rabbits and more. Kids can interact with some of the animals too. The family park also has many benches and shaded sitting areas with plenty of space for kids to play.
The Al Thakhira Mangrove is a great place to find migratory birds, crabs, little fish etc. This nature site is well-known for its beach, and the surrounding natural greenery is a great spot for a picnic spot. Please be aware of the surroundings while visiting and do not damage the environment.
The Al Dosari Zoo and Game Reserve is a private zoo by the Dosari family in Al Shahaniya Municipality. You can see many animals and birds like the oryx, ostriches, camels, turtles and more here. The price of the ticket is QR 10 per person. Every Friday and Saturday, kids can enjoy pony rides too!
