New Law Offers Way Out for Disgruntled expatriates

THE Nationality and Travel Documents Department has opened a temporary office for issuing smart ID card to Qataris at the Qatar National Olympic Committee (QNOC) headquarters.

The second workshop of the Qatar Business Women Award 2008 (QBWA) was held yesterday at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) headquarters. Samira Fakhri, a member of the Qatar Business Women Forum (QBWF) inaugurated the workshop.

While we wait for New Doha Airport to be finished, the government has decided to spend around 500million USD to expand the current airport and upgrade facilities. It was announced in Al Raya that the new extention will be modelled on the Premium Terminal. That means that there will be added Luxury to the airport for economy passengers as well. ILQ News

Chairperson of Board of Trustees of the Qatar Museums Authority H E Sheikha Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani is to lead a delegation to Paris along with the Vice-Chairman Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Museum of Islamic Art Abdulla Al Najjar, to brief the French media and cultural influencers on the opening of the Museum of Islamic Art planned for November 22.
