Just found out today there are cultural events on going related to AFC Asian Cup at Katara the new Culture Village, and at Souq Wakif, every day 8-28 January 2011.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani invites you to attend Arabian Drag Racing League events at Qatar Racing Club this February! Admission is free for grandstand seating. Food and drinks are available also. Children will enjoy the children's play areas on each side of the track with giant inflatable slides and bounce houses and eat cotton candy.
