Hayya card service centre open doha exhibition convention center

[UPDATED] 18 December 2022

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy announced on 18 December 2022 that the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center Hayya Service Center will be closed from 18 December 2022, 4 pm onwards.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has opened another Hayya Card service centre to assist fans attending this year’s FIFA World Cup™.

The latest facility, at Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), will provide face-to-face support for fans with Hayya Card inquiries. Fans will be able to print a physical Hayya Card at the venue, though applicants should note this is not mandatory.

Hayya Card as entry permit for international fans

International fans entering Qatar for the tournament will be receiving a separate entry permit along with their Hayya Card which will allow them to enter Qatar starting from 1 November 2022.

Those with approved International Hayya Cards will be receiving the entry permit to their registered email addresses. The entry permit will be a PDF document which will state the entry and exit dates, along with personal details.

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy has confirmed that the last date to enter Qatar with a Hayya entry permit will be 23 December 2022 and the last date to exit will be 23 January 2023.

The entry permit will be a requirement for international visitors regardless of purpose and will be the only means to enter from 1 November 2022 till 23 December 2022.

The regulation is also applicable to GCC nationals and GCC residents.

DECC Hayya Card service centre timings:

  • Saturday to Thursday: - 10 am to 10 pm
  • Fridays: 2 pm to 10 pm

The DECC centre will be operational until 23 December 2022. This is the second Hayya service centre to open after Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena (ABHAA).

The Hayya Card is mandatory for all FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ ticketholders. It will provide access to stadiums for match ticket holders and free public transport. It will also act as an entry permit for international fans. Approved Hayya Card holders based internationally will receive a PDF copy of the entry permit by email.

Hayya Card applications can be made online or via the ‘Hayya to Qatar 2022’ mobile application, which is available via the iOS App Store and Google Play. Applicants must have a valid match ticket number and upload their personal details, passport photograph and accommodation information.

The SC has also organised a series of webinars to explain the Hayya Card process. Click here for further details.
