The first quarter-final match of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ witnessed Tajikistan play against Jordan at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium on 2 February 2024. The match kicked off at 2:30 pm.
Tajikistan's Vahdat Hanonov scored an own goal, awarding a point to Jordan and taking the score to 1-0 in the 66th minute.
The match ended after an additional 8 minutes of stoppage time.
The full-time score is 1-0 in favour of Jordan and the team makes history as they move on to the semi-finals for the first time.
