Jordan and Iraq faced each other on 29 January 2024 at the Khalifa International Stadium for the knockout stage match of AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™.

Jordan won against Iraq with a score of 3-2.

Yazan Al Naimat scored the first goal of the match for Jordan in the extra time given before half-time.

Aymen Hussein scored two goals for Iraq, with a goal in the 76th and 77th minute.

Jordan scored two goals in the additional time of the match, scored by Yazan Al Arab & Nizar Al Rashdan.
