The second AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ match held on 14 January 2024 was between UAE and Hong Kong at the Khalifa International Stadium. The match kicked off at 5:30 pm.
UAE's Sultan Adil scored the match's first goal in the 34th minute, successfully converting a penalty into a goal, taking the score to 1-0.
The second half of the match started strong with a goal from Hong Kong's Philip Chan Siu Kwan in the 49th minute, assisted by teammate Everton Camargo, closing the gap with a score of 1-1.
UAE's Zayed Sultan quickly followed up with a goal in the 52nd minute, giving the lead back to UAE at 2-1.
In the 95th minute, UAE player Yahya Al Ghassani furthers the lead and secures the win with the last goal of the match.
The full-time score is 3-1 in favour of UAE.
