9 employees face criminal court falsifying work attendance

The Public Prosecutor ordered the referral of 9 employees to the competent criminal court after investigations revealed that the individuals had falsely logged in hours of attendance and departure from work at a government agency. The individuals were found to be outside of their workplace during these hours and received wages, which are in violation of their employer's laws and regulations.

Investigations by the Public Prosecution further reveal that one of them recorded their attendance and departure from the workplace using each of the accused's work cards.

The accused have been charged with seizing public funds and forging and using official documents, which are punishable by imprisonment and fines.
