The last AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ match held on 14 January 2024 witnessed Team Iran play against Team Palestine in a Group C match at the Education City Stadium. The match kicked off at 8:30 pm.
Iran's Karim Ansarifard scored an early goal in the 2nd minute of the match with an assist from Saman Ghoddos, quickly securing the lead to 1-0 for Iran.
This is followed up by another goal from Iran's Shoja Khalilzadeh in the 12th minute also assisted by Saman Ghoddos, taking the lead to 2-0.
Mehdi Ghayedi from Iran scored another goal in the 38th minute, assisted by Alireza Jahanbakhsh, furthering the lead to 3-0.
Shortly before halftime, Palestine's Tamer Seyam scores the team's first goal of the match in the 51st minute, taking the score to 3-1.
The second half started strong, with Iran's Sardar Azmoun scoring a goal in the 55th minute, taking the lead to 4-1.
The full-time score is 4-1 in favour of Iran.
