Egypt qualified for the semi-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 following a 3-1 victory over Jordan on Saturday 11 December at Al Janoub Stadium.
Yazan Alnaimat scored for Jordan in the 12th minute but Marwan Hamdy leveled the game for Egypt in the 46th minute as the first half ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the second half, both teams failed to seal the game as the original time ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the extra time, Ahmed Refaat scored the second goal for Egypt in the 100th minute, while Marwan Daoud netted the third goal for the Egyptians in the 119th minute.
Egypt will take on Tunisia in the semi-final of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021.
