The third round of joint qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2027 AFC Asian Cup was held between Qatar and Kuwait at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on 21 March 2024.
At the end of half-time, both the teams were at 0-0.
During the second half of the match, Akram Afif opened the scoring card for Al Annabi at the 47' minute, bringing it to 1-0, in favour of Qatar.
Qatar's Ahmed Al-Rawi scored the second goal for Qatar in the 51' minute, bringing the score to 2-0.
Al Annabi's Akram Afif scored the third goal against Kuwait in the 68' minute.
Qatar won the match with a final score of 3-0 against Kuwait.
