Qfa host fifa seminar potential 2026 world cup referees

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) is set to host a FIFA seminar for potential referees from the federations of Asia, Africa, and Oceania to participate in officiating the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches, scheduled in the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.

The seminar will open in Doha on 26 February 2024, and will continue through 29 February 2024, in the presence of FIFA Referees Committee Chairman Pierluigi Collina, FIFA Referees Committee Vice Chairman, AFC Referees Committee Chairman, QFA Director of the Refereeing Department Hani Taleb Ballan, and FIFA Director of Refereeing Massimo Busacca.

The seminar will witness theoretical lectures and practical exercises in accordance with the program that has been prepared. The theoretical side of the symposium will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, while the practical side will be held at Qatar University Stadium No. 1.
