Qatar’s population climbs to 1.64m
The country’s population is continuing to rise. The population stood at the end of last month at 1.647 million, up from 1.625 million in February, figures posted on the website of the Qatar Statistics Authority (QSA) say. The increase was more than 21,000. The QSA said it releases population figures at the end of every month. The figures include persons present in the country of all ages — both nationals and expatriates.
