The Qatar Foundation for Combating Human Trafficking is conducting a study on domestic workers in Qatar. The study will focus on the living conditions of domestic helpers, particularly housemaids as well as the impact of this major segment of foreign workers on the family environment, sources from the Foundation said yesterday. The Foundation has already prepared a questionnaire for the survey which will be distributed among the targeted groups. The issue of housemaids has triggered several debates in the country with diverging opinions.
