The Movenpick Hotel has launched its annual painting competition, inviting students between the ages of 8 and 12 from schools in Qatar to participate in the event entitled: “From Walt Disney to Superman”. The hotel has provided each participating school with standard art panels and the work selected by their teachers will be displayed in an exhibition during Friday Family Brunch at the hotel. Markus Marti, general manager, said: “We are looking forward to see the outcome of this challenge. From our experience, we know that we can have high expectations and children at this age are able to produce amazing artworks”.
