The Ministry of Municipality, Al Baladiya, announced on 15 June 2023, that it worked to renovate several beaches in various municipalities.

The ministry issued a list of 15 beaches that have been developed to receive visitors. They are as follows:

1. Fuwairit Beach
2. Al Maroona Beach
3. Arida Beach
4. Al Farkiah Beach
5. Simaisma Beach
6. Al Wakra Beach
7. Sealine Beach
8. Al Udaid Beach
9. Al Mamlaha Beach (for women)
10. Al Ghariya Beach
11. Zekreet Beach
12. Dukhan Beach
13. Umm Bab Beach
14. Al Kharaij Beach (for singles)
15. Salwa Beach

The Ministry of Municipality also issued instructions to wear life jackets when swimming, to dispose of waste in the designated containers, to take care of general hygiene, not to bury coal in the sand and more.
