The Ministry of Municipality, represented by Al Rayyan Municipality, seized and destroyed about 6,840 kg of olives unfit for human consumption, in an unlicensed warehouse in the southern Muaither area as part of the continuous follow-up of regulatory agencies on the food sale, trading, and storage places, in order to ensure the health and safety of consumers.

The seized quantity included various packages of green and black olives, packed in 30 barrels of 200 kg capacity and 105 barrels of 8 kg capacity. It was found that they had apparent mold and were unfit for human consumption, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
