The Ministry of Municipality (Al Baladiya) has announced in a tweet on 8 September 2022 the 10 day closure of "Doha Star Restaurant" in Umm Salal Municipality.

أصدرت بلدية أم صلال قرارا إداريا بإغلاق "مطعم نجم الدوحة" لمدة 10 أيام، وذلك لمخالفته قانون رقم 8 لسنة 1990 بشأن تنظيم مراقبة الأغذية الآدمية.

The decision was made due to the establishment's violation of Law No. 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control.
