Grace period extended for expats who have violated law 'Regulating Entry, Exit, and Residence of Expatriates'

Ministry of interior extends grace period for violators

The Ministry of Interior has announced through their Twitter account that the grace period for legalizing the status of violators of Law No. 21/2015 regulating the entry and exit of expatriates and their residence with a 50% discount on violation amounts has been extended until April 30, 2022.

The 50% discount on violation amounts includes violations of not completing residence permit procedures and not renewing them. The violators include those who violate the following:

  • Work Visa Violators
  • Residency Violators (Company)
  • Family Visa Violators
  • Violators from Domestic Workers and those on their status
