Mesaieed Park is one of the newest family-friendly parks in Doha, located in Al Wakrah Municipality. The park's 38,029 square meters feature huge play areas for kids, open sports facilities, running and walking tracks, and more.
The ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team visited Mesaieed Park and is here to tell you all about it!
One of the main attractions of Mesaieed Park is the huge playground area for kids of all ages. It features colourful playsets with themes like pirate ships and castles. There are smaller play sets, too, for the younger kids.
A unique feature of the playground is the floor art, which also includes illustrated games kids can play, such as snakes and ladders and hopscotch!
Another park attraction is its sports facilities. Mesaieed Park has a tennis court, a basketball court, and three football fields.
Currently, the sports facilities are free for public use (subject to change).
Those who wish to play sports in the facilities must bring their own equipment and balls. It is also important to note that balls are only allowed within the sports facilities and not in other areas of the park.
Keep up with your fitness journey and work out at Mesaieed Park's exercise areas!
For those who want to picnic and stay comfortable, there are 6 shaded pergolas or picnic cabanas that also illuminate after sunset, providing ample lighting for evening picnics.
Do you love going for a walk or jog? Mesaieed Park's pathways cover the area, both cement walkways and rubber trails.
If you're feeling parched while spending time at Mesaieed Park, head to the shaded water fountains that offer chilled drinking water! These stations also illuminate in the dark, so you can easily spot them during the evening.
Located just behind the Mesaieed Park is a mosque where worshippers can perform prayers.
Beside Mesaieed Park is a large commercial complex full of establishments, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It's a convenient stop-over for snacks, food, and drinks for your picnic!
