The ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team visited Qetaifan Island Marina & the Instagram-famous Glass Bridge and is here to tell you what to expect and what to check out!
The Lusail Pedestrian Bridges, also popularly known as the Glass Bridge of Lusail, is a suspension bridge with glass panels and flooring that runs across Qetaifan Island South 1, 2 & 3.
While the bridge provides easy access to each island, it is also a great spot to visit to catch great views of Lusail city, be it the Lusail Towers or the Meryal Waterpark.
The bridge also provides breathtaking views of Qatar's pristine waters.
If you are a lover of water, you can get close enough to the Marina as there are steps that lead you just near the shoreline.
Catch a moment to yourself and have a seat on any of the plenty of benches spread across the Marina, which overlook the water, from this point.
For those who like a little more greenery, there are seating spaces within spaces with natural shade from the trees.
On hot days, you can grab a seat by the lower area of the bridge, where you can find shaded seating and even set up a little picnic for yourself.
Designated parking areas can be found by the roadside of the Marina.
Note: Basement parking will be available but is currently not open yet.
At the moment, there are no functional prayer rooms or toilets on the Marina premises.
The nearest toilets and prayer room can be found at the closest WOQOD petrol station, which can be found just when you exit Qetaifan Island South 1.
