When we called the Traffic department (11 July 2021, 8:40 am) on their phone number 234 2000, we were told that, residents can also call the emergency line 999 to report incidents related to traffic, including that of smoke-belching vehicles.

Any report or complaint must include specific information: car’s plate number, type of vehicle, the location where you witnessed the incident, and the date and time. The authorities will investigate the report/complaint and will take appropriate action.
