Do you prefer classic ice cream flavors or do you like to go for the unique flavors? Whichever your choice may be, the first edition of the AlSikka Ice Cream Gourmet Street has a lot of surprises in store for you. We got the inside scoop so you'll know what to expect.

What's the scoop?

Msheireb Downtown will be hosting AlSikka 'Gourmet Street' every year with a different concept. For this year, the open-air event's focus is on ice cream!

The participating brands offer not just ice cream but also other dessert items and a variety of beverages.

Mandarin Oriental's Gelato offers classic flavors. Graze has a special frozen yogurt named Bounty which combines chocolate, macadamia nuts and coconut. Icicles serve both gelato and soft serve - try interesting flavors like Summer Break, True Hawaii, Marron Glace, or Care Cream.

You can try Dates, Rosewater, or Bubblegum flavors at AlWadi Hotel MGallery stall. Park Hyatt's Anis serves ice cream made from fresh fruits and served in it too. Cue Whimsical Cafe offers a soft serve with cotton candy while Auburn Cafe has intriguing flavors like MangoBerry, Mixtachio, Kunafa, and Iced Meringue.

Try the world's smallest ice cream at Mylk or try Lean N Fit's special selections of Banoffee, Chocolate Waferino, Salted Coconut, and Berry Cherry.

Truffle lover? Ministry of Coffee has White Truffle and Mango-Peach, especially for the event!

Saasna has Charcoal ice cream and Societe has Gelato Bites.

Ice cream, music, sights, and art

You can enjoy not just your favorite ice cream flavors but you can also enjoy live music from the Music Affairs Center. Art lovers can also stop by at the "In Downtown" exhibition in collaboration with Alhosh Gallery and the support of Seashore Qatar. The art exhibition features 17 artists from Qatar.

If you're lucky you can also catch some of the artists in action bringing their artworks to life on the canvas outside the exhibition venue.

Plus, there are life-sized ice cream installations all over the street which you can take photos/selfies with! Once you've satisfied your sweet tooth, you can take the Msheireb Tram to go around Msheireb Downtown Doha.
