Team Qatar's Abdulaziz Al Obaidly made his debut at Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games where he participated in the Men’s 200m breaststroke event on Tuesday 27 July 2021 at 1:35 pm (Qatar Standard Time). Although the 19-year-old didn't win a medal, he got the opportunity to compete against top world swimming champions and succeeded in breaking his own personal record. Abdulaziz also acquired valuable Olympics experience which will be an incentive to do even better in the next Olympic Games.
