The Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani receives a special award from International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge during the opening ceremony of the 9th World Conference on Sport and Environment at the Doha Sheraton Hotel yesterday. The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) received the award for its commitment to environment and sustainable technology. Sheikh Tamim is the President of QOC.
