As announced by the Ministry of Interior, citizens and residents of GCC countries without match tickets may enter Qatar through the air and land border crossings from 6 December 2022.

The Ministry of Interior has provided information on how GCC citizens and residents may enter the country without match tickets or Hayya cards. Below are the requirements and instructions.

Through the airports

GCC citizens and residents may enter Qatar without a match ticket or Hayya card. The following requirements apply:

• Hayya Card not required
• Match ticket not required
• Usual procedures followed in this regard will be applied

Through land border crossing using private vehicles

Those travelling through the land border crossing using private vehicles must apply for a permit through the Ministry of Interior website. Below are the other requirements:

• Hayya card not required
• Match ticket not required
• Must apply for a permit through the Ministry of Interior website at least 12 hours before travel
• No fees for the vehicle permit

Through land border crossing using buses

GCC citizens and residents travelling to Qatar through the land border crossing using buses are reminded of the following:

• Hayya card not required
• Match ticket not required

NOTE: Those who wish to attend matches must apply for a match ticket and a Hayya card, as they will not be permitted to enter the stadiums.
