This is as follows:
Citizens and residents of GCC countries coming to Qatar will be able to enter without the requirement to register via the Hayya platform, as of 6 December 2022.
Transportation by bus will be available to all travellers through the land port. Parking will be allocated to visitors without a fee.
Those citizens and residents of GCC countries coming via the land ports through their private vehicles will be able to enter the country as of 8 December 2022.
They must apply for the permit via the Ministry of Interior’s website at least 12 hours before the travel date, without requiring payment of the vehicle entry permit fee.
This step comes in the context of the State's efforts to provide an opportunity for visitors, citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, to enjoy the atmosphere accompanying the matches of the World Cup and the entertainment activities during the remainder of this tournament, and to facilitate the entry mechanism through all ports to join the ranks of thousands of fans in stadiums and fan areas allocated viewing areas to cheer the world's brightest soccer players.
Note: Fans wishing to attend the matches must register on the Hayya platform.
