The Ministry of Public Health has announced the withdrawal of a chocolate spread product called, "Spar Spreadup Choco" from the local market.

The product, made in Belgium, is from the brand "Spar". It has been pulled out from sales outlets for not indicating in the product label that it contains almond nuts that cause allergies in some people.

Product details:

  • Spread Choco Hazelnut
  • Country of Origin: Belgium
  • Brand: SPAR
  • Production date: 28/2/2022
  • Expiry Date: 31/12/2022

The ministry calls on people who are allergic to almonds not to consume the product listed above.
