On 21 April 2024, the Qatar Central Bank announced the suspension of the Eidiya ATM service following a record withdrawal of over QR 135 million during Eid Al Fitr 2024.

Qatar Central Bank announced on its social media accounts that the withdrawal operations exceeded QR 135 million from all the Eidiya ATMs placed in 10 different locations.
