The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) announced on 29 January 2024 that two Qatar Armed Forces aircraft had reached Egypt from Qatar with 41 tons of medical aid to be transferred to the people of Gaza.

The medical aid provided included medical equipment, devices & supplies.

With these two planes, the total number of aid planes sent for Gaza is 72, carrying a total of 2,144 tons of aid.
