On January 9th, 2024, an aircraft belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived in Arish City, Egypt. The aircraft was carrying 28 tons of aid, which included food provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD). The aid is meant to be transported to Gaza. This latest delivery marks the 60th aircraft to have delivered aid, bringing the total amount of aid delivered to 1,879 tons.
The assistance comes within the framework of the State of Qatar's support for the brotherly Palestinian people, as well as its full support for them during the current difficult humanitarian conditions.
