H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani participated on Monday, 25 October 2021, in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit, which was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh City.
A number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Heads of States and Governments have also participated in the Summit.
The Summit was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying H.H. the Amir, as well as Their Excellencies members of delegations, ranking officials and guests of the Summit.
H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with H.H. the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the Middle East Green Initiative Summit at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.
At the outset of the meeting, H.H. the Crown Prince of Kuwait conveyed the greetings of H.H. the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his wishes of good health and happiness to H.H. the Amir and for the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
For his part, H.H. the Amir entrusted H.H. Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with his greetings and wishes of good health to H.H. the Amir of Kuwait, and of continued development and growth for the Kuwaiti people.
The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral relations and the means to enhance them to the benefit of the two peoples, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international developments as well as the topics on the summit's agenda.
The meeting was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying H.H. the Amir.
On the Kuwaiti side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers and ranking officials.
H.H. the Amir left Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday evening after taking part in the summit. The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at King Khalid International Airport by H.E. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir, H.E. Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Saudi Arabia Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and the Qatari Embassy staff
