His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with His Excellency President Joe Biden, President of the Friendly United States of America, on the sidelines of the Jeddah Summit on Security and Development in Jeddah today.
During the meeting, strategic relations between the two countries were reviewed as well as ways to support and strengthen them in various fields, specifically in security, defence, and sports, particularly with regard to Qatar's preparations to host the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup. The developments in the regional and international situation were also discussed.
