Moph precautionary advice covid health guidelines travellers eid

The Ministry of Public Health released on Twitter some precautionary advice and reminders for travellers during the Eid Al Adha holiday.

The series of infographics enumerated the health guidelines that the public is encouraged to adhere to:

  • Observe COVID-19 precautionary guidelines, especially in countries where the disease is circulating widely.
  • Ensure that you are vaccinated with booster doses before travelling.
  • Make sure to carry a copy of your vaccination certificate when travelling.
  • Regularly wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid physical contact when greeting others.
  • Cover your mouth and nose whenever you cough. If available, use a tissue paper and dispose immediately once used.
  • Wear face masks when with someone with respiratory illnesses or if you have respiratory symptoms.
  • Avoid crowded and poorly ventilated areas.
  • Obtain traveller health insurance whenever possible.

The ministry further stresses the importance of getting vaccine and booster doses of all eligible citizens and residents at the many PHCC health centers in Doha or the Qatar Vaccination Center for Business and Industry in Bu Garn.

The ministry also reminds the public to be vigilant despite the lifting of the COVID-19 precautionary restrictions in Qatar.
