Represented by the Farm Violations Work Team and in cooperation with the Municipality of Um Salal, the Ministry seized a food store selling expired food items in one of the farms of Um Salal, where the warehouse was immediately closed and the necessary legal measures taken.
The Ministry said that the food store was selling expired food and storing them in unhygienic environmental conditions, which is violation of the provisions of Law No. 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control. The Director of Um Salal Municipality has issued an administrative decision to immediately close the warehouse.
