Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), on 3 September 2023, warned the public of fake messages regarding health card renewal.

HMC mentioned that renewal of health cards is done through a text message from Hamad Medical Corporation that includes the official electronic link: https://hukoomi.gov.qa/en/e-services/renew-health-card.

All patients and members of the public are requested to exercise caution and refrain from opening any SMS messages sent by unverified sources. These messages may contain fraudulent or suspicious links that claim to update your personal information or health card.
