His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on 8 January 2023, issued Amiri Order No. (1) of 2024 amending the composition of the Council of Ministers.

The order stipulated that the following be appointed:

• His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie as Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
• His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth.
• His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim bin Ali bin Issa Al Hassan Al Muhannadi, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs.
• His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality.
• His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers.

The Amiri order stipulated that it would be effective from the date of its issuance and that it would be published in the Official Gazette.
