The Amiri Diwan has announced that on the occasion of the upcoming National Day on Saturday, 18 December 2021, it has been decided that Sunday, 18 December 2021 will be an official holiday.
The Qatar National Day Celebrations Organising Committee has released the slogan for Qatar National Day 2021 through their social media platforms. Every year the Qatar National Day Organising Committee reveals a unique slogan for the celebrations.
The 2021 slogan translates to:
"Ancestral meadows; a matter of trust."
The slogan calls on all of us to consider our environment as a core issue because environmental development is one of the four pillars of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

This year's Qatar National Day parade will start at 9 am and entry for the public is by invitation only (via bar code). Corniche will open to invitees until 7:30 am and the paths will be closed after that.
Two places are embarked for the public, bringing the total number of invited people to about 9,586. (Peninsula Qatar)

One of the most awaited events on Qatar National Day are the fireworks that adorn the skies that evening. You don’t want to miss the special fireworks show that will light the Corniche skies in celebration. They are mesmerising, spectacular and a treat to watch.
This year there will be fireworks on the Doha Corniche during the evening time and it will coincide with the timing of the end of the FIFA Arab Cup™. (Peninsula Qatar)

Doha Metro and Lusail Tram announced that between 17 December 11:30 pm and 18 December 11:30 am:
Doha Metro & Lusail Tram also announced that due to the organizational requirements of Qatar National Day celebrations, access to Al Bidda, Corniche, and West Bay QP stations will be restricted between 11:30 pm on 17 December and 11:30 am on 18 December.
Al Bidda Station will only be available for transfer between the Red and Green Lines.
All vehicles must follow certain conditions during Qatar National Day celebrations from 15 to 21 December 2021:
