The Northern Security Department was able to arrest four suspects of Asian nationality after they attempted to smuggle gold out of the country illegally by turning it into powder.
The tools and devices they use to convert gold into powder were also found in addition to financial invoices worth gold, and therefore were seized and the accused and seizures referred to the competent authorities to proceed with their procedures in this regard.
The relevant authorities of the Ministry of the Interior appeal to the public of the importance of cooperating with them in the event of suspected such cases, to report immediately to reduce the incidence of such crimes.
