In its biggest turnout yet, the third edition of the Color Run™ saw over 6,500 people descend on the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) this past Saturday, January 28, 2017 to take part in the Happiest 5k on the Planet. Supported by Weill-Cornell Medicine-Qatar and presented by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, this year’s Tropicolor World Tour event lived up to its mission of empowering participants to celebrate a healthy lifestyle as a community.

After some fun warm-up activities by Anytime Fitness Qatar, the crowd set off along the winding 5k course around QNCC, getting doused head-to-toe with colour at every 1k mark. What makes The Color Run™ unique is that it doesn’t matter whether you’re young or old, or if you walk or run – there’s no time limit. Instead, it’s about getting out there and getting active at whatever pace suits your ability.

Just make sure to save some energy for the massive finish line party!
