The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' started the implementation of the construction works for Al Daayen park Development Project, as part of The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places in Qatar, to be a tourist and leisure destination serving the area residents in particulate and all people and the visitors of Qatar in general.

Project Design Manager at the Supervisory Committee of the Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar at Ashghal, Eng. Maryam Al Kuwari said that the park is located in Al Daayen Municipality on area of 39,000 square metres. It is located there to be an outlet for the families in Al Daayen and Semaisema Areas.

The project includes providing green open spaces with seating areas and Kids playing area. A Fitness Area will be provided, and Pedestrian and Cycle Paths will be built to encourage people to practice sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Engineer Maryam Al Kuwari added that the project includes providing service kiosks that include restaurants, cafes, toilets and security rooms. She also noted that the park visitors can use the parking space provided by Al Daayen Municipality, which currently includes 50 parking lots that will be increased in the future. She also said that there will be decorative lighting poles with special dimmed lighting to secure privacy.
