The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a 9-hour closure on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor to traffic coming from Umm Lekhba Interchange underpass to Thani Bin Jassim Interchange underpass only in the direction of Hamad International Airport on Friday, 1 December 2023, from 1 am - 10 am.

Traffic will be open on the service roads and Thani Bin Jassim Interchange signals.

The flyover on Umm Lekhba Interchange, leading from Al Shamal towards Hamad International Airport, will be shut down temporarily.

Ashghal advises travellers headed from Al Shamal or Al Markhiya to use Duhail Interchange to reach destinations on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor. Road users from Doha to Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor are advised to use Umm Lekhba Interchange through service roads along Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor.
