On March 9th, McDonald’s Qatar celebrated the third annual National Breakfast Day together with other McDonald’s restaurants across Asia, Middle East and South Africa.
National Breakfast Day was initiated globally by McDonald’s to reiterate the importance of breakfast and inculcate in customers the awareness and need of starting their day on a healthy note.
In Qatar, 23457 Egg McMuffins were handed out to customers in just four hours who joined in the celebrations along with over 400 McDonald’s team members across 28 restaurants, making it one of McDonald Qatar’s biggest breakfast activity to date locally.
Egg McMuffins, part of a dedicated breakfast menu which includes a wide and appetizing range of grilled wholesome breakfast products that are perfect for those rushed for time, is an iconic handheld breakfast consisting of a fresh Grade A egg, chicken roll and a slice of melted cheese, held together by a freshly toasted English muffin. First introduced in the US in 1971, the McMuffin range is now the brand’s signature breakfast offering, with more than 1.2 billion sandwiches sold per annumworldwide.
