Nurseries page added education ministry website

The Private Education Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) launched the nurseries page on the Ministry's website. The page included a number of significant main sections which opened a channel of communication with parents and the general public via the link: www.edu.gov.qa/en/Pages/nursdefault.

All visitors can now access the page for information, direction, and access to the necessary services related to nurseries. The "About Nurseries", "Licensing Nurseries", "Supervision and Control of Nurseries", "List of Nurseries", "Be Cautious Initiative" and "Contact Us" sections are some of the page's most noticeable sections.

Visitors can view a list of all 179 nurseries in the State of Qatar, including a nursery dedicated to receiving children with disabilities, and learn about all the required documents and forms needed to license nurseries.

Dr. Rania Mohamed, Director of the Nurseries Department, explained that the page also contains a section dedicated to "Be Cautious" initiative, which aims to eradicate the phenomenon of nurseries that are not licensed by the Ministry, and subject them to legal accountability, in a way that guarantees the safety and security of children, by contacting the nurseries management and reporting any unlicensed nursery.

It is important to note that the page has a "Contact Us" section that aims to create ongoing lines of communication with parents and all other members of society. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education welcomes visitor feedback to enhance the website while continuing to add significant and valuable content to benefit nurseries, how to manage this age group and its importance, as well as the contributions and accomplishments of nurseries.
